What will my insurance cover?

We strongly recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to understand your mental health benefits prior to your first appointment. Here are a few questions to consider asking:

  • Do I have mental health coverage?
  • Is my plan subject to a deductible?
  • What is my copayment or coinsurance after meeting the deductible?
  • Is there a limit to the number of therapy visits per year?
  • Do I need prior authorization?

You may also be asked for “CPT codes” for therapy services. Here are the ones we commonly use:

  • 90791 – Initial Evaluation
  • 90837 – 55-minute Individual Therapy
  • 90834 – 45-minute Individual Therapy
  • 90847 – Couples/Family Therapy

We accept all major credit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and payment through our secure client portal. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.

Good Faith Estimate
( for Private Pay Clients only)

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of your therapy services.

Here’s what you should know:

  • You can request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling or at any time.
  • You’ll receive the estimate in writing at least 3 business days before services begin.
  • If your bill is at least $400 more than your estimate, you have the right to dispute the charge.
  • We recommend keeping a copy of your estimate for your records.
